Getting started with Neo Software is easy. You can set up, train, and go live in as little as seven days. The software guides you through the setup, and you'll have the support of a dedicated, focused team with years of support in data conversion. Select your track below to learn how to get started.

Set up Neo Software in 7 days

If Neo is your first practice management software and you don’t have any data to convert, you can get set up in 7 days. An implementation coordinator will be in touch with you shortly after you subscribe to Neo to assist with your transition and ensure your success.

Days 1–5: Prepare your staff—Communication is the key to your success!
Responsibility: Business owner, practice manager 

Key actions:

  • Tell your staff that you purchased new software and share your reasons why.
  • An implementation coordinator will call you soon after your purchase. The implementation coordinator will be available to help you through the set up and go-live process, and to help make the transition as easy as possible.

After the initial transition you will continue to have access to:

  • Training built directly into the software
  • Online chat and email support for questions
Day 1: Begin your self-paced training and setup
Responsibility: Business owner, practice manager 

Key actions:

  • Training is built into the software and will display when you log in. You can also access the training by clicking Help Me on the bottom right corner of your screen.
Day 2: Setting up your practice in Neo Software
Responsibility: Business owner, practice manager 

Key actions:

  • Log in to your Neo Software to access guided training to help set up your system.
  • Create an implementation plan with your staff.
  • Assign duties and due dates to ensure all tasks are completed on time.
Day 2-3: Have your staff complete their training
Responsibility: All staff 

Key actions:

  • The built in training is role-based. Assign training to staff based on the functions that they perform.
  • Be sure staff training is complete before your go-live date.
Day 3-6: Complete remaining setup
Responsibility: Business owner, practice manager, and all designated users 

Key actions:

  • Set up your forms and certificates, reminders, products, and create procedure templates.
  • Enter your clients, patients, and appointments into Neo.
Day 7: Go live!

Complete conversion of your data in just 14 days. An implementation coordinator will be in touch with you shortly after you subscribe to Neo to assist with your transition and ensure your success from conversion to go-live.

Days 1–2: Prepare for your data conversion
Responsibility: Business owner, practice manager

An implementation coordinator will be contacting you to walk through the conversion process step-by-step and schedule your data conversion.

Days 1–5: Prepare your staff—communication is key to your success!

  • Tell your staff that you purchased new software and share your reasons why; also share expectations for the transition.
  • An implementation coordinator will call you soon after your purchase. The implementation coordinator will be available to help you through the setup and go-live process in order to help make the transition as easy as possible.

After the initial transition you will continue to have access to:

  • Training built directly into the software.
  • Online chat and email support for questions.
Days 4-5: Initial conversion
Responsibility: Business owner, practice manager 

Key actions:

  • Once your data has been converted, a conversion expert will review and validate your data with you.
  • Now you will be able to log in to your new Neo Software. Spend some time setting up Neo and prepare for your final data conversion.
Days 4-6: Complete your self-paced training
Responsibility: Business owner, practice manager 

Key actions:

  • Training is built into the software and will display when you log in. You can also access the training by clicking Help Me on the bottom right corner of your screen.
  • Once you’ve finished your training, it’s time to make decisions on how you’ll use Neo Software in your practice.
  • Create an implementation plan with your staff.
  • The built-in training is role-based. Assign duties and due dates to ensure all tasks are completed on time.
Days 6-8: Have your staff complete their training
Responsibility: All staff 

Key actions:

  • Assign training to staff based on the functions that they perform.
  • Be sure staff training is complete before your go-live date.
Days 6-10: Complete remaining setup
Responsibility: Business owner, practice manager, and all designated users 

Key Actions:

  • Common features that need to be completed now are setting up forms and certificates, cleaning up reminders, reviewing products, and reviewing procedure templates.
Days 10-13: Final conversion
Responsibility: Business owner, practice manager 

Key actions:

  • A final conversion is performed to ensure accuracy and capture any new transaction data.
  • Your communication specialist will call to check in and make sure you’re ready to go live.
Day 14: Go live!
Your conversion is complete and your practice is up and running—now it’s time to go live with Neo!
